verb

to toss or put in motion with a sudden impulse, as with a snap of a finger and thumb, especially so as to cause to turn over in the air; to turn over, especially with a short rapid gesture.
We couldn’t decide whether to eat out or cook at home, so we flipped a coin and let fate decide.
Make sure you flip the pancake so both sides get cooked!

    I’m completely useless at flipping pancakes. Luckily, my husband is a whizz at it *and actually makes the best pancakes in the world …. or at least in the family !
